Taryn Gregory began dancing as a freshman at Stony Point High School in Round Rock, Texas, where she soon became a part of the Stony Point High School Tiger Dancers. She was a member for three years and served as a line officer her junior and senior year. Ms. Gregory graduated from high school in 2012 and enrolled at Texas State University as a dance education major.
During her time at Texas State, Ms. Gregory became a member of Orchesis Dance Company. She served as Associate Artistic Director her junior year and lead the company as Artistic Director her senior year. Ms. Gregory was also a member of Merge Dance Company, the pre-professional modern company at Texas State. In the summer of 2013, Ms. Gregory became a staff member for Crowd Pleasers Dance Company, and has had the opportunity to travel and teach Drill Teams all across Texas during each summer. Ms. Gregory also worked at both The Element Dance Center and New Braunfels Dance and Company, where she had the opportunity to teach students of all ages in various dance styles. Of all aspects of teaching dance, Ms. Gregory loves choreographing the most. She has choreographed for many high schools in the greater Austin area, and has even won scholarship awards for her choreography within the Texas State dance department. At the end of her college career, Ms. Gregory had the privilege of student teaching at Hendrickson High School with Bethany Dudley under the supervision of Denise Cochran.
Ms. Gregory graduated from Texas State University in 2016 with her BFA in Dance Education, and began working at Cedar Ridge High School as a Visual and Performing Arts Academy dance teacher and Royalty assistant director. During her two years at Cedar Ridge, Ms. Gregory also created and directed Cedar Ridge’s Ensemble Dance Team, Nobility.
Ms. Gregory is beyond excited to start her second year at Hendrickson and serve in the role of the Director of Silver Dancers! She is committed to continuing the high level of excellence established throughout both the dance department and Silver Dancers!

Autumn Fleet grew up in Tyler, Texas and started dancing at the age of three. Her passion for dance began at Candy Crocker School of Dance and she continued training there until high school graduation. She attended Robert E. Lee high school and was on the Southern Belle Drill Team for three years. Her senior year she served as Captain of the Southern Belles and graduated in 2015.
Ms. Fleet attended Kilgore College from 2015-2017 and was a Kilgore Rangerette on the 76th line. She performed in the 90th Anniversary of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the 75th Pearl Harbor Commemoration in Hawaii and the Texas Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C. In 2016, Ms. Fleet started working for the American Dance/Drill Team Company where she judged competitions, tryouts and taught several summer camps. She was also a Texas Dance Educator Association College Assistant for two years and assisted with choreography for the annual All State Dancer’s routine.
After earning an Associate’s Degree and graduating from Kilgore College, Ms. Fleet went to Texas A&M University from 2017-2019. She majored in University Studies of Dance Concentration with two minors in Youth Development and Creative Studies. She was a part of the Texas A&M Dance Arts Society where she choreographed several pieces. She also choreographed multiple routines within the dance department as well as high school and middle school field and contest routines for various schools. Ms. Fleet was the dance team director at A&M Consolidated middle school during her two years in College Station. She graduated from college in 2019 with her Bachelor of Science.
Ms. Fleet is overjoyed to be serving the Silver Dancers and dance department this year! She is excited to help each student grow as individuals and dancers throughout their high school career. Ms.Fleet is honored and grateful for the opportunity to teach and guide the students of Hendrickson high school towards success!
